Introducing My PT 2 Go's Monthly Newsletter

My PT 2 Go is proud to introduce our monthly newsletter!

This is a space only for:

  • Giving helpful information

  • New things happening at the clinic

  • Offering our “best of” in the clinic and research world.

My PT 2 Go was born in 2019, when I (Dr. April) ended my time working with the Navy on their Amphibious Base. With over 10 years of work experience in private practice and government clinics, I saw the growing control of insurance over patient care. When insurance pays less, clinics have to stack their schedules with more patients, patients receive less time with their provider, and the quality of care is sacrificed. Numbers become more important than people.

In response, I created My PT 2 Go - a concierge practice, where we meet patients where they are, both physically and mentally. We value evidence-based medicine, and apply sound practice, philosophy, and interventions to patient care. We give patients the time, the energy, and the resources needed to heal in order to achieve their goals.

My PT 2 Go

We grew, with Dr. Susana Cicchetti in 2021 and Dr. April Bronowski in 2024. My PT 2 Go has been a dream-team of therapists. This group has a diverse background in sports, both personally and professionally, from mountains to oceans, and everything in between. Our team utilizes the latest concepts, new technology, and researched-based best practices, making My PT 2 Go the home of exceptional care and treatment that produces results.

A Favorite Exercise: 360° Breathing

Let's take diaphragmatic breathing up a notch!

360 Breathing

Why: It lowers your heart rate and blood pressure. This utilizes your diaphragm, which is a muscle, and is reflexively connected to your pelvic floor. It will gently move your pelvic floor to help relax it.

Try: One hand on your belly and the other on your heart. Inhale through the nose 2 seconds, exhale 4 seconds not allowing your heart hand to move. Nailed it? Now grab the side of your lower ribs and inhale. Do you feel your ribs expand out (laterally)? Still easy? Okay, focus on whatever you are resting on - floor, back of the chair - inhale. Now do your ribs move both out and back? Can they make contact with the chairback?
